J.F. Bryan, IV, a
Jacksonville native, was involved in the insurance industry for 30+ years,
the last 13 spent as president of Independent Insurance Group. He is now a
community trustee working with a variety of civic and charitable
organizations. He currently serves as chair of Local Initiative Support
Corp., and chair of the Reinhold Foundation.

Maureen Gartland - Secretary/Treasure |

Maureen Gartland is vice president/administrator at St. Catherine
Labouré Manor, a faith-based nursing home affiliated with St. Vincent’s
Medical Center. She studied psychology and sociology at Barat College and
DePaul University.
Gartland serves on the Riverside Fine Arts Association, Body & Soul and is
board president of Grove House. She is also a member of Rotary Club and
Jacksonville Women’s Network.

Neil Abramson MD

Dr.
Neil Abramson graduated Allegheny College and Albert Einstein College of
Medicine. His post-graduate education included the University of Pittsburgh
(Medicine) and the Thorndike Memorial Laboratory (Hematology) of the Harvard
Medical School. From 1971 until the present time, he has been in
Jacksonville, FL where he has served as clinical hematologist and medical
oncologist and initiated and chaired the fellowship programs in Hematology
and in Medical Oncology. He is Director of Education and Clinical Research
at Baptist Cancer Institute in Jacksonville, Clinical Professor of Medicine
at University of Florida-Jacksonville and recipient of the 2003 Outstanding
Clinical Research Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology. His
continuing responsibilities include clinical care, teaching, clinical
research and editorial board responsibilities (previously for Blood and
currently for Journal of Clinical Oncology and American Family Physician) |

James E. Jenkins -

Mr. Jenkins served for 17 seasons as performer, teacher, and
Director of Artistic Personnel with the Eastern Music Festival in
Greensboro, North Carolina. A 1983 graduate of the University of
Miami, Mr. Jenkins served as the Principal Tubist with the Alabama
Symphony for 10 years, along with holding faculty positions at the
University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa), The University of Montevallo,
Samford University, Birmingham Southern College, and the University
of Miami (1985 - 1986). After leaving Alabama in 1993, Mr. Jenkins
was engaged as performer and Personnel Manager with the Naples
Philharmonic for two seasons. He recently completed his fourth
season as Principal Tubist with the Santa Fe Opera. Mr. Jenkins
presently resides in Jacksonville FL where he serves as the
Executive Director/ Founder of Body & Soul - The Art of Healing,
Principal Tubist and Assistant Personnel Manager of the Jacksonville
Symphony Orchestra, a position he has held since 1995.
